Crosstrek floor jack.
I ve read quite a few posts about proper jack stand placement but i wanted to go right to the source to see what the service manual says about placing the car on stands.
I have a floor jack that i ve had for quite a few years.
Except that all those other cars had much less ground clearance.
It would be nice if it was similar hence i mentioned i presume i looked under the 18 crosstrek and it looks quite similar atleast for the front.
On the crosstrek this is behind the oil pan and should be the same spot for the ascent because of the global platform.

And this jack just doesn t quite go tall enough to lift my tires off the ground enough to remove them.
You can get a floor jack adapter for the pinch welds to keep from crushing them or a hockey puck with a slit in it.
So do you know if the floor jack points are different on the my18 since i am not sure or are you assuming based on the different platform.
When i do maintenance on my 2016 2 5i premium i like to get the car up on 4 jack stands.
