In the project browser under floor plans right click level 2 and click rename. Revit assigns the label for example level 1 and the level symbol to the new level. To create unique area plan views select do not duplicate existing views. If you select more than one level revit creates a separate area plan for each level and groups them by area scheme in the project browser.

At the prompt click yes to have revit lt rename the corresponding views. Click architecture tabroom area panelarea drop down area plan. For type select a view type from the list or click edit type to modify an existing view type or create a new view type. You can do this as follows.

In the new area plan dialog for type select an area scheme. Select one or more levels for which you want to create a plan view. We ll do both of these in this video click floor plan notice that revit will skip the floor plans we already have made. If you rename the level you are asked if you would like to re name the associated floor plan and the reflected ceiling plan as well.

Select ribbon view plan views. Use the project browser to rename the level if desired. For name enter 00 foundation and click ok. For scale select an appropriate view scale for the new view.

Level 1 1 where the value in parentheses increases with the number of duplicate views. On the create panel click the plan views dropdown you ll see we can make floor plans and reflected ceiling plans. Click view tab create panel plan views drop down and then click floor plan reflected ceiling plan structural plan in the new plan dialog. Select a level for the area plan view.
